When Jesus takes the scroll (the deed to rule the earth) the twenty four elders and four living creatures will sing…
“Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:9-10 ESV)
Two things stand out to me here.
1) No matter how much time passes, heaven never forgets about what Jesus did on the cross to save the world. Neither should we forget or underestimate it’s power in our lives.
2) Believers will be mentioned in this incredible song. That just blows me away. God allowing recognition to us in possibly His Son’s most glorious moment.
What a God. Haha! What a God!
