Day 28

Ephesians 6:16 (NKJV)
“above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One!

Your confident trust, (FAITH) is the shield that stops, “Every” fiery dart of the enemy. Isn’t that wonderful? The enemy tries to stop your growth and progress by getting you to doubt God and His Word. These are the “darts” he throws at you. However, when you are convinced that God’s Word is true, regardless of circumstances or situations and you boldly stand believing God the enemy’s darts and arrows will bounce off of your shield and fall to the ground.

Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. (NKJV). Refuse to listen or give attention to anything that does not line up with God’s Word. Meditate upon God’s Word and allow your faith in God to grow. (Rom 10:17). You have the faith, use it. Make the decision to believe God and stand firm. Don’t become impatient. Hold on to God’s Word. Heb 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. NKJV Seek the Lord and get the reward. Lift up your shield and defeat the lies of the enemy. You are mighty in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Father, thank You for giving me the shield of faith. I make the deliberate decision today to believe You and Your Word. I refuse everything that tries to enters my thinking that does not line up with Your Word. I stand upon Your promises and speak life and faith into all of my circumstances and situations. I am a faith filled person.

I walk in faith, I speak faith filled words, and my actions demonstrate a life of faith. I place my confident trust, my faith, in You believing that You truly are a rewarder to those who seek You. I speak Your blessings into my life this day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Use your faith to bless someone today. Take the “risk” to reach out and be a blessing. Do something to bless someone you don’t know or speak a blessing upon someone. Jump in by faith in the name of the Lord Jesus.
