Day 23

Galatians 5:1 (NIV)
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Live and think this day like a free person and not like a slave caught in bondage. Today make the deliberate effort to picture yourself as a child of God, someone who God rejoices over. Reject all thinking that tells you God is not in love with you, or not for you. That is not God’s Word, and thinking like that certainly does not come from the Holy Spirit. God is crazy about you and deeply in love with you.

As you come into agreement with God’s Word you are becoming what the Bible refers to as, “spiritually minded.” Romans 8:5-7 says, “Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” (NLT) As you meditate upon God’s Word, you become spiritually minded. His Word leads you into life and peace. His Word is working within you.

Father, today I choose to think about You and Word. Keep Your Word in the forefront of my thinking. Remind me whenever my thinking begins to wander away from the truth of Your Word. I confess today that I hear the prompting of the Holy Spirit and am quick to obey. I hear Your voice and any other voice contrary to Your Word I will not follow or give attention to. Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. I am lead today into the path of righteousness and life and I walk in it. My heart is set upon You and I rejoice in You and Your goodness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reject all thinking that tells you God is not in love with you, or not for you. God loves you! Meditate on His word!! His love speaks a better word!!!
