Live Out Your Freedom
Day 21
Today’s
Scripture:
Galatians 5:1 (TPT)
Let me be clear, the Anointed One has set us free—not partially, but completely and wonderfully free! We must always cherish this truth and stubbornly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.
Galatians 5:1 (TEV)
Freedom is what we have — Christ has set us free! Stand, then, as free people, and do not allow yourselves to become slaves again.
Thought for Today:
Through His work on the cross Jesus broke the power of anything holding us in captivity or bondage. That includes everything spiritual, mental, physical, relational, or financial. The power of Christ’s death and resurrection set us free from sin and its power to rule over us. It is up to us to recognize and live in that freedom. We are called to be caretakers of the freedom Christ has purchased for us.
This means we are to, “live out” our freedom by following the leading of the Holy Spirit and obeying the Word of God. The Bible tells us to, “submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7). That means to live God’s way, by obeying His Word, and believing Him. See yourself as God see you, victorious, overcoming, righteous, and, His child. Remember, “If God is for you, who can stand against you.” (Romans 8:31)
Prayer:
Father, thank You for setting me free. I recognize the freedom that Jesus purchased for me and determine today to walk in that freedom. I declare that the only Lord over my life is Jesus. Today I confess Your Word over my life.
“I am more than conqueror through Him who loves me.” (Rom.8:37)
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” (Phil.4:13).
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away and look everything is new.” (2 Cor. 5:17).
“I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ,” (2 Cor. 5:21).
“The Lord is my shepherd, …and He leads me in the path of righteousness,” (Ps.23).
I thank You Lord that the power of sin, bad habits, addictions, rejection, hatred, unforgiveness, is broken in my life. I am a servant of the Most High God and I honor Him with my spirit, soul, and body. Lord, be glorified in and through me today. Let my life be a living testimony of the freedom You have graciously given to me, in Jesus name. Amen.
Activation:
Today, declare the Lord’s freedom over your life! Walk faithfully, putting your trust in Him and His word. You are who He says you are. You are who His Word says you are. It’s the TRUTH!
God Bless; make it a great day, and remember, “Why Not You?”
