The Enemy is Defeated!

Day 17

Today’s
Scripture:

2 Cor. 10:3-5 (NKJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Thought for Today:

Satan wants to plant seeds of doubt, unbelief, and fear within your life. First, he lies about God and His great love toward you. Next, he lies about you, denying what God has said about you. Today let’s tighten up the belt of truth. As we continually look at God’s Word, we uproot the weeds of doubt, unbelief, and fear. Remember a liar has no power until his lie is believed, and Satan is the “father of lies,” (Jn. 8:44).

The devil wants to keep you ignorant of God’s Word. He doesn’t want you to know the truth because he has no power to stand against the Word of God. Col 2:15 In this way, He (Jesus) disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross. (NLT) Eph. 1:22-23 says, “And He (God) put all things under His (Jesus) feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (NKJV). The enemy is under the feet of Jesus.

As a believer you are in Christ, you are a part of the body of Christ. Therefore, the enemy is under your feet! Isn’t that remarkable? Some people spend a lot of time talking about the devil and his power and everything he is doing. Look at the scriptures. Believe the scriptures. The devil is defeated, Jesus Christ is Lord, and you are in Jesus Christ. Never see yourself again as a defeated helpless underdog. You are a child of the Most High God. Stand up and tighten your truth belt. Believe God’s word and prosper in the truth. Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Now, that’s a promise.

Prayer:

Father, I thank You for the truth that sets me free. Let today be a continual reminder of the victory You have given to me. In Jesus’ name, I refuse to think of myself as a defeated, hopeless, helpless, victim. I am a child of the Most High God. I am filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. I am bold to stand in Your truth. Today I see all bad habits, addictive behavior, self-defeating thinking, and sin as under the feet of Jesus and therefore under my feet. I proclaim my victory in Christ Jesus my Lord. I declare that sin has no power over me through the blood of Jesus. I am free in the name of Jesus. Thank You Jesus for my freedom and victory. I am a world overcomer through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus is my Lord. Amen.

Activation:

Continue to speak victory today. Speak directly to anything that attempts to enslave your life in the name and authority of Jesus. See yourself as free. You are a child of the Most High God, get the picture. Meditate upon that today.

God Bless; make it a great day,
