Live Free!

Day 14

Today’s
Scripture:

John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Thought for Today:

Look again at Galatians 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. “Do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” “Do not,” means you have something to do with this. You can either permit slavery to put you back into bondage or you can choose to live free.

Every day you participate in the 21 days of fasting and growth you are making the choice to walk in freedom. As you are giving this time to the Lord you are making the Christ-like effort and decision to be like Him. Way to go! You are demonstrating the wisdom of God and the mind of Christ. You are growing in your knowledge of the Lord. You are standing firm in your freedom. You are obeying God and you are choosing life; the abundant life Christ offers you (John 10:10).

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the freedom that has been given to me through Christ Jesus. Help me to never take this wonderful freedom for granted. Strengthen my heart in determining to stand firm in my freedom. I reject the lies of the enemy and any incorrect thinking that does not line up with your Word. Give me more revelation of Your great love for me. May I be able to comprehend what is the width, length, depth, and height of Your love for me. May I be a true walking, talking, breathing carrier of Your love and grace today. Be seen in me. I make myself available to You. Use me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Activation:

Share God’s love in a practical way today. Express (exercise) your freedom in Christ by doing something practical for someone else that blesses them, (examples: Stop and pray for those the Lord puts on your heart, generously give out your smile to others, send a text or email to someone you know needs an encouraging word, etc…) Just give them a reminder that God is thinking about them and loves them.

God Bless; make it a great day,
