Day 12

2 Timothy 4:7 TPT
I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course and I’ve kept my heart full of faith.

Paul saw his departure date approaching. It must have given him pause to look back and consider his life. As he did he summed up and described his life in this way: “I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course and I’ve kept my heart full of faith.”

Bad days happen.

Difficulties arise. Unforeseen circumstances that may carry a sinister purpose to dissuade you from remaining in faith. Paul experienced this. I’m sure you have too. But Paul’s words give us focus and hope.

FIGHT. Get up. Keep going. It’s not time to quit. Persevere. It CAN be done. FINISH! Paul says “I kept my heart FULL of FAITH.” That’s the key to fighting to the finish! Keeping your eye on the prize of His promise. On His goodness! Fill your heart and mind with the GOOD things He says about you! The promises in His Word and the prophetic words spoken over you. He will use them to fuel your heart to fight to the finish in faith!

Father forgive me for the times I’ve given up on myself when You never have. Help me to remember and cherish what You have said about me!

Ask Holy Spirit to remind you of the promises and words He wants you to remember and focus on. Write down 3. Revisit and refresh them everyday this week.
