Song of Songs 7:1-5 (TPT)
How beautiful on the mountains are the sandaled feet of this one bringing such good news. You are truly royalty! The way you walk so gracefully in my ways displays such dignity. You are truly the poetry of God—his very handiwork. Out of your innermost being is flowing the fullness of my Spirit—never failing to satisfy…Your life stands tall as a tower, like a shining light on a hill. Your revelation eyes are pure, like pools of refreshing—sparkling light for a multitude. Such discernment surrounds you, protecting you from the enemy’s advance. Redeeming love crowns you as royalty. Your thoughts are full of life, wisdom, and virtue…You stand in victory above the rest, stately and secure….”

Jesus’ words in this passage to his Bride (us) are so full of destiny and identity. So many times I think Jesus is judging me, or I am judging myself to be unworthy of his love. The revolution of love is a revelation that he loves us no matter what. Not only does he love us, he is passionately pursuing us and sees an incredible destiny in our hearts. He sees the weak love we have for him as poetry.

I love where he says, “such discernment surrounds you, protecting you from the enemy’s advance”. This was a huge revelation for me: that when we find ourselves fully loved by Jesus, that revelation actually protects us from the advances of the enemy. Our victory is found in the revelation that Jesus is passionately in love with us at this very moment in time.

My challenge today is for you to embrace the love he has for you. He truly is overcome with deep love for you right now, this very moment. And through this revelation of knowing you are fully loved, it becomes the destined identity of who you are. You are passionately loved by the King of Kings! He loves being with you. He loves talking with you. He loves it when you sing to him and share each moment of life with him.
