Give Thanks

Day 1

Today’s
Scripture:

Ps. 100:4-5 (NKJV)
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Thought for Today:

What an exciting time to be living in. God has placed us here for such a time as this. Think about that for a moment, God has placed you, specifically you, here for this time and in this place. From the foundation of the earth, God has had a plan and His plan is working and continues. No matter what the enemy has done or will try to do it won’t defeat the Lord.

I am especially excited about these next 21 days. It is wonderful and amazing knowing that not only New Life Covenant is setting these days and times aside for prayer and growth, but we are joining believers around the world seeking the Lord together. That is something. I want to thank you and encourage you to arm yourself and move forward in your prayer time during these 21 days. If possible try and set aside a regular time and even a regular place that you will spend time with the Lord. I realize for some your schedule makes this difficult, however, if possible I encourage it.

Let’s enter this fast by setting aside our plans to embrace His. Also, it will be good to have a journal or some way to write what you are receiving from the Lord. Be prepared to hear from Him. Your prayers are mighty and remember, not forgotten. Be expecting to see the Lord speak and work.

Prayer:

Father, we thank You and praise You for desiring to spend time with us. May our time together be an adventure that impacts me for the rest of my life. I give You this set aside time to speak to me and transform my life. I lift my voice and bless You, for you love me with an everlasting love. Thank you that this time together will be incredibly profitable and change me more into the image of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Activation:

Decide a time and location that you will spend your fast. Some ideas would be to spend your lunch time with Jesus or go to bed a little earlier so you can rise a little earlier to start your day with Him, or decide to fast a TV program and spend that time with Him. These are just a couple of suggestions to help you find that set apart time and place for the next 21 days.

Make it a great day,
Pastor Kit and Vicki Tabor
