Blessed Lord, as we continue to decree in our lives and the lives of those around us we remember the Horse Gate in Nehemiah 3:28. Father, the horse gate was where Your warriors marched out to battle and returned from battle. Help us to remember that we must be vigilant as a church family and as the Body of Christ to reinforce this gate in our lives. Give us wisdom that we will not be deceived by the enemy who seeks to creep into our homes with his subtle deceptions and evil conniving. Holy Spirit keep us alert and on guard. Strengthen Your children Lord that we are not afraid of those who threaten us. We remember our Lord, great and awesome are You. By faith we fight for our brethren, our sons and our daughters, our spouses and homes. (Nehemiah 4:14)
Give us Your wisdom to follow Your instructions to drive out…destroy…dispossess and desolate our enemy. (Numbers 33:52-53) Thank you Lord that as You are, so are we also in this world. May we arise as mighty men and women of God and at Your call prevail against Your enemies. (Isaiah 42:13) You Lord roar like a lion, as Your hand is lifted up upon Your adversaries, all Your enemies shall be cut off. (MIcah 5:8-9)
Show us how to stand as majestic lions, imitating the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. We are not prey; rather we are the head and not the tail, we are above and not beneath, we are victors not victims. With the sword of the Spirit in our mouths we, Your people are Your battle axe and Your weapons of war. (Jeremiah 51:20). We know that we do not war against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and rulers of darkness in heavenly places.
The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. (Prov. 14:19) We stand as sentinels and guardians agreeing with our Lord as He describes His Bride as terrible, as an army with banners, formidable, awesome, frightening, majestic, utterly captivating and awe-inspiring. (Song of Sol. 6:4, 10)
The enemy has laughed at us as our horse gate lay in ruins. Now the suddenly of God is upon us, the power of the Holy Spirit is upon Your people and as we resist the enemy, he absolutely must flee from our homes, our church, our families, and our nation. We are a people who have raised the banner of victory proclaiming Jesus as Lord. Our Horse Gate is repaired and we stand at the ready as little Christs to enforce the bold display of Jesus’ mighty victory over the kingdom of darkness. To You Lord Jesus we proclaim Your glory and victory.
